This month we have welcomed Stian Tjoflåt Karlsen into the team as Product Line Manager for WELLVENE - Engineered Well Solutions in Norway! Stian has 19 years of experience spanning Intervention, completion tools, P&A and business development roles within Halliburton and Archer. His in-depth knowledge of the Norwegian market will play a key role in our ambitious expansion plans for the Wellvene product line. The first wireless distributed temperature array system on the NCS has now been running for over a year providing invaluable information to the client without the need for wet connectors or control line feedthroughs. The system with 160 temperature sensors and annulus + tubing pressure gauges was installed on the production tubing across a perforated reservoir zone with the following main objectives:   •                   Verify clean-up of perforations •                   Analysis of contribution from perforated interval vs. main reservoir •                   Verify completion concept   The data from the system combined with the thermal model built for the application has already achieved the objectives and provided the production team on the asset with invaluable information. Moving forward we will continue to upload data and provide updated contribution analysis for the client assisting them with understanding their reservoirs and optimize their drainage strategy. Today we wish a very happy 60th birthday to Oystein Eide! Øystein has been a core part of the Marwell team for the past 4 years and has enriched us with his 3 decades of operator experience. Øystein holds the role of Product Line Manager within the team and is widely renowned for his hands on drilling & completions experience and sense of humor! Having spent 31 years working on the Valhall field he has also earned the nickname 'Mr Valhall'. Gratulerer med dagen Øystein! 🎉
