Today, Navamedic presented its results for the third quarter of 2024. “Compared to last year's record-high quarter, this quarter has been slower and impacted by the cyclical nature of the business. However, our underlying business remains strong with Consumer Health and Hospital delivering double digit growth in the quarter. We are confident that our growth strategy will lead us to become a profitable NOK 1 billion revenue company," said Kathrine Gamborg Andreassen, CEO of Navamedic. We are thrilled to announce that Navamedic has won a joint Nordic antibiotics tender. Under this contract, Navamedic will be the main supplier of antibiotics to hospitals across Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. On behalf of Norges Parkinsonforbund, Menon Economics recently published a report on the socioeconomic costs of Parkinson’s disease in Norway. According to the report, the cost of Parkinson’s disease was NOK 28 billion in 2023. As more people are expected to be diagnosed with Parkinson’s, in combination with people living for longer, this number is estimated to increase by 19 per cent by 2030. So, without a cure to treat this progressive neurologic disease, what can we do? We can start by recognising the need for patients to be followed up closely by a multidisciplinary team to improve their quality of life and continue to raise awareness.
