Selskapet har en lang historie innen fiskehelse og har en tydelig ambisjon om å være en pådriver for forbedringer som øker overlevelse og fiskevelferd. Foredraget handlet om hvordan PatoGen ser på måter å bruke maskinlæring til vurdering av hudhelse hos laks. New Pathos Webinar on e-DNA💡 Join us on October 17 at 14:00 for a insightful session 🐟 💦 We invite you to a new Pathos Webinar titled "Environmental DNA as a tool for disease surveillance to develop biosecurity control measurements" PatoGen AS is one of the partners in an ongoing project where we are exploring the use of water samples (e-DNA) for disease surveillance, in collaboration with Nord universitet and ACD Pharma. The lecturer will be Hans-Arne Frantzen from ACD Pharma/Nord University. Hans Arne is a master's student in biosciences at Nord University, specializing in the use of environmental DNA (eDNA) as a tool for biosecurity surveillance in the aquaculture industry, with a focus on Yersinia ruckeri. He will discuss, among other things, the science behind eDNA, its application in relation to biosecurity in salmon farming, challenges and limitations, and much more.
