Viking is happy to announce that Mikkel Skullerud has accepted the position as Country Manager for Norway, a new role equal to the already existing country manager roles in Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Viking Assistance Group continues to strengthen its Management Team and welcomes Monica Bårdseth to the new position as Chief Legal & Compliance Officer (CLCO). «Viking Group has grown significantly in recent years. With size comes larger needs to follow up compliance and quality in all parts of our value chain. At the same time, most industries face increasing regulations that lead to new requirements from customers and other stakeholders. In response to these needs, we have established a new group function, covering Legal, Compliance, HR and Sustainability. Monica brings impressive expertise and experience to Viking, and I really look forward to having her on the team», says Viking’s CEO Markus Nordling. Monica Bårdseth has a law degree from the University of Oslo and has gained extensive experience from her positions in law firms as well as positions as in-house lawyer in various companies. In her latest position, she built up legal, compliance and HR in a company with offices and production in 17 countries. Monica assumed her new position at Viking on 3 June 2024.
