We work to advance Auckland's prosperity through a number of programmes and initiatives that: • attract visitors, direct investment and smart jobs to Auckland • build an entrepreneurial ecosystem in which ideas, investments and jobs thrive • help businesses start, grow, innovate, and become export ready • showcase Auckland through major international and cultural events • stimulate jobs for young Aucklanders in growth sectors • link Auckland with dynamic markets and innovators in Asia Pacific.

    Breaking news - a highly anticipated international film production is coming to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland! 🤩🎬 'The Wrecking Crew', an Amazon MGM Studios film starring Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista and Temuera Morrison, is set to be shot extensively in Auckland. Screen Auckland, our regional film office, played a crucial role in securing this production and will continue to provide extensive support throughout filming by facilitating film permits and ensuring smooth collaboration with local businesses, community groups, and the public. How will Auckland benefit from this production? 💰 It will deliver a significant boost to the local economy and thriving screen sector 💼 More than 1400 employment opportunities will be created 🏨 Local businesses will see a significant boost ✈️ Auckland’s stunning architecture and landscapes are set to shine, boosting the region's tourism appeal!
