  • This October, we toast to 3 years of Tipping Point wine and a GOLD MEDAL win at the New Zealand International Wine Awards for our Tipping Point Opportunist Shiraz 2023. Since launching Tipping Point in lockdown 2021, Kiwi chef and entrepreneur Al Brown's foray into the world of wine has been inspired, with each varietal supporting a different not-for-profit organisation in Aotearoa. "I'm super stoked to have played a very small part in the making of this Tipping Point Shiraz. Hats off to the rest of the amazing Constellation Brand family, loving what we are all creating together!" - Al Brown #TippingPointWines #Shiraz #WineAwards #celebration

  • Houston, we have a solution! Did you know that around 200,000 people report getting sick every year in New Zealand from food? (HACCP) Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point is an internationally recognised system used to identify and manage significant food safety risks and minimise those by putting controls in place to ensure food and drink are safe to consume. It is a system we use at our Kim Crawford Winery and has helped build the robust processes we use today, to ensure the highest level of quality and food safety for our consumers. HACCP originated in the 1960s when NASA, the US Army Labs and a large US food manufacturer collaborated to provide safe food for upcoming space expeditions. Nobody wants a sick astronaut in space!

  • One of the perks we offer permanent staff at Constellation Brands is an annual Brand Ambassador Allowance, so we can taste the fruits of our labour, and sample the wines we’re so proud of making. This is more than just a perk—it’s about education and connection. We want our team to delight in our local wines and to try our other wine and spirit brands from across the world. And who better to share these experiences with than our friends and family. Cheers to learning, sharing, and enjoying the finest wines together! 🍷✨ #ConstellationBrands #WineLovers #EmployeeBenefits #WineEducation #TeamPerks #Cheers

  • A report card to be proud of! Our Kim Crawford Winery is certified to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and passed our recent 'unannounced' audit with the best mark possible, AA+.   BRC is a globally-recognised benchmark and helps provide assurance to our customers that our products are safe, legal and of high quality.  This top grade reflects our dedication to quality and food safety, thanks to the hard work of our entire team. From building a new quality management system to implementing rigorous HACCP measures, everyone has played a valuable part in this success.

  • Transforming risky business into safe success. ✨ Over the past two weeks, our Marlborough, Hawke’s Bay and Auckland staff put down their tools (and stepped away from their desks) to embrace safety, environmental, and wellness activities at our annual Safety & Enviro Days. The sun shone as we tackled risk assessment, team building and communication activities. We finished off the day planting native trees to give back to the land. And of course, enjoyed a tasting of our new Kim Crawford 5% Piquettes! Shout out to everyone who participated and made these days memorable. Special thanks to Sergai Davis, Babette MacLeod and those who facilitated. What incredible days they were!

  • Behind the scenes sneak peek! We’re lifting the lid and giving you an exclusive look at the production line at WineWorks Auckland where the magic of #Selaks Berries & Cream Rosé and many more of our brands are bottled before they reach the shelves of your local supermarket or liquor store. From the first grape to the final bottle, the journey of these bottles has been one of passion, dedication, and devotion to taste. Another fantastic bottle of Selaks' 90th year!

  • You asked and we listened! Research shows a growing demand for lower-alcohol beverages as consumers seek out options that allow them to enjoy wine in moderation. Our Selaks Origins Breeze range uses the Piquette method, a traditional technique originating from France. Piquette is made by rescuing already pressed winemaking grapes and giving them a second squeeze, resulting in a refreshing range that includes Piquettes from Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and Pinot Gris. Our Chief Winemaker Dave Edmonds says, "utilising the traditional Piquette method, we've crafted fruit wines that not only minimise waste but also maximise the vibrant fruit flavours that define our fruit wines." Crafted with innovation and waste reduction in mind, this #Selaks range caters to wine enthusiasts and health-conscious consumers alike, seeking a flavourful, lighter option without compromising on taste.
