Pop-Up Opportunities at Dunedin Airport Terminal We’re excited to announce flexible pop-up opportunities for local vendors at Dunedin Airport this summer – running now through the end of February 2025! With no site fees (just a commission on sales), vendors can choose their preferred dates, times, and location within the terminal. Power and WiFi are provided, and we welcome specialty food and drinks, arts and crafts, performers, and more. This is a prime opportunity to reach travellers and locals alike. For more information, please contact csnow@dnairport.co.nz. We look forward to showcasing the region’s best! #DunedinAirport #PopUpOpportunity #LocalBusiness #DunedinEvents #BusinessDevelopment

#AirportSafetyWeek wouldn't be complete without the annual FOD Walk & BBQ. Duck eggs, pebbles, cash... whatever the team finds during the walk either goes in their pockets or the Foreign Object Debris (FOD) bin 🚮 reducing the risk of damage to aircraft engines. In addition to being tidy Kiwis, the FOD Walk tradition reminds our airport community that we're all responsible for safety at the airport, regardless of our job titles. #SafetyFirst

Ever feel like you spend your days putting out fires?🔥Dunedin Airport CEO Daniel De Bono had the satisfaction of literally putting out two fires during #AirportSafetyWeek, hosted by our own Airport Emergency Services team🧯 #LeadByExample Staff, contractors, and other members of the wider airport community were invited to a fire extinguisher demonstration and hands-on training exercise yesterday. This activity is part of the weeklong focus on fostering our safety culture. #SafetyFirst #WorkplaceSafety

We weren't the only ones celebrating Monday's announcement of direct flights between Dunedin Airport and Gold Coast Airport on Monday 🟠🍰 Wasn't it thoughtful of Gold Coast Airport to mark the occasion with an impressive three-tier pavlova, the traditional Kiwi dessert?! 😉 📸 Pictured from left: Barry Harris, Hamilton Airport NZ Chairman Patricia O'Callaghan, Tourism and Events Queensland CEO Amelia Evans, Queensland Airports Limited CEO Stephanie Tully, Jetstar Airways CEO #acrosstheditch #transtasman #flightlaunch #queensland #goldcoast #tourism

We are incredibly proud of our team who has worked tirelessly over nearly five years to bring back international flights to Dunedin. It’s been a long, difficult process. But we’ve done it! A special shout out to our executive leadership team for their dedication 🙌 #ThankYou GM Business Development Megan Crawford, GM Finance & Commercial Chris Cope, and GM Operations & Infrastructure Nicholas Rodger. To celebrate the DUD > OOL route launch, Dunedin Mayor Jules Radich joined our CEO Daniel De Bono in lighting up the terminal in Jetstar Airways' well-recognised orange brand colour yesterday (hence the giant light switch from Southern Lights & Services Ltd!). The airport team also donned celebratory orange t-shirts to mark the occasion, reading "Next winter, it'll be t-shirt weather." Thanks to our brand designer Luke Johnston for your creative support! It isn't a proper Dunedin party until Emerson's Brewery joins the celebration, and we were proud to offer bespoke bottles of 'Cold Coast' whisky porter to our VIPs, both in Dunedin and at Gold Coast Airport. Jetstar launched a 24-hour route launch sale at midday yesterday, and the sale fares sold out within 8 hours! We expect huge interest in this new route to continue, knowing how much the community has pushed for it. We’ll be continuing our mahi promoting this region, ensuring the flights are well-used and the many attractions of this region are known. We look forward to continuing to work with you all on this! 📸 Photos by the talented REFRAMED MEDIA
