🚁 Delivering safe drinking water to remote communities requires unique solutions! Recently, our FILTEC Ltd team designed and built an AquaSAFE water treatment shed for a remote community in the Gisborne region. 🌄 Due to the location's inaccessibility – only reachable by horseback or a walk through dense bush – we had to airlift the treatment shed by helicopter to the site. The treatment shed receives water from two sources; spring and surface, and is treated using pH correction, essential filtration and disinfection process, to ensure the community has access to reliable, compliant and safe drinking water.
