About us

Keola is an award-winning construction management company that passionately believes in creating a proud legacy together. Our unique engineering approach ensures you can build with confidence; on time and on budget. TRUST KEOLA Communication A proud legacy together can’t be built without open and honest communication (the good and the bad). And we take that seriously. Can-do attitude By the very nature of our experience and our engineering backgrounds we love to tackle projects that others might believe are too difficult. We believe where is always an answer and we’ll find it. Alternatively, it might be a solution to a small issue sketched onto a napkin to help a builder resolve a problem. Experience Here’s where our engineering background and experience pays big dividends. The depth of our knowledge to see, adapt and resolve issues before the project has begun or during the build is second-to-none. Price Everybody wants price certainty. Due to our detailed understanding of the process and construction we end up with lower variations. As the old saying goes “A builder is honest at some stage of the process — the start or the end” Keola prides itself on being honest up front. Trust Trust is paramount – you’ve got an important build, money- on-the-line and a timeframe that needs to be met – and we know this. This is why we care so greatly about our legacy; it builds long-lasting trust. But don’t take our word for it. Check out all the awards we’ve won or some of our client videos online. We’re not fly-by-nighters, we want to own those projects for years, decades, centuries into the future. It is by these values that we drive our company forward, how we differentiate from our competitors and want to be remembered in the future; People that love building things and made a real difference. And this is our legacy, together.

One minute, the target was unachievable. But then we did it. 80% Construction waste reduced. THE CHALLENGES - Space on site - Recycling fatigue - Education of sub-contractors THE WINS - focused planning and smarter waste management - diverted a whopping 80% of our construction waste from landfills! - big projects can make a positive impact to clients and subbies alike 1. Timber Wins    Repurposed 3.7 tonnes of timber fencing for local community projects.     2. Plastic Wins    56 kg soft plastics    70 kg polystyrene     3. Concrete and Plasterboard Wins    1.5 tonnes of plasterboard    Hefty amount of concrete Most people want to do good, but don't know how. There's a deeper writeup here showing what we did. https://lnkd.in/gZ4qicG8 🚧_🚧🚧_🚧 I'm Sanjesh Lal 🌲        And we're always working hard to save the planet. 🍃

You don’t need a loser like me… you need someone smart! This, was my reply. I was recently asked to speak an event celebrating immigrant business people. The back-and-forth emails reminded me about how far I’ve come—not a loser, but a survivor. In 1989, I left Fiji for New Zealand with nothing but big dreams. In 1998, I graduated with a civil engineering degree. In 2006, I thought I didn’t belong in this industry. In 2007, I started my own construction company. In 2013, after substantial losses from bad debtors, some said I should quit. From 2013-2023, we’ve completed over 450 apartments, commercial projects, schools, high end architectural houses and a hotel. In 2024, I was asked to share my story. In 2025, people will still doubt me—and that’s okay. 😊 Your journey isn’t for everyone to understand. Keep building, dreaming, and proving yourself right. To anyone navigating challenges—keep going. You’re not a loser; you’re a survivor. 💪 Success is a series of lessons, resilience…and showing up when it’s tough. PS:  What field are you in? Did you ever doubt yourself? And if you survived that, you’re amazing. PPS: And if you’d like to watch my presentation, link is in the comment below. Sorry, equipment failure meant I had to do a voice over afterwards. Its kinda like using a hammer instead of a nail gun, it's not as slick….but it gets the job done.😊 #Motivation #Resilience #Leadership #keola #fiji

  • If you own land or are planning a development in Auckland, you may be affected as certain areas have no further capacity for development. In some cases, upgrades are planned for 2030-2040! However, constraints don't always mean no connections; each application is assessed based on location, demand, size, and timing. Please contact us or just comment 'Map' and we'll send you the map so you can check your site. #AucklandDevelopment #WaterCare #InfrastructurePlanning https://lnkd.in/ejPRNhqX
