Recently we visited Putāruru Rugby Club in the heart of South Waikato to learn more about their teenage pathway. Waikato Rugby and the schools in the region opened their grades to Putāruru to ensure that all teenagers had a rugby experience that best suited their age and stage. We love hearing about communities putting their participants first so everyone has the opportunity to reap the benefits of playing rugby 🏉 Ka pai Putarurū Rugby Club, Waikato Rugby and Waikato schools - it’s actions like this that have contributed to rugby's growth in 2024.
