After attending the Ford New Zealand Women in Leadership Programme, Nat Broadhead, WaiBOP Football Federation's Women's Development Officer, set out to create a football programme for rangatahi girls focused on empowerment, leadership and driven by Te Ao Māori. "Personally, and as the Women's Development Officer, it's just huge seeing the confidence growth and the girls having fun in a safe environment and just getting to be themselves."
