We’re proud to announce our recent partnership with Te Nukuao Wellington Zoo, an organisation dedicated to wildlife conservation and protecting Aotearoa’s unique species. 🦉 Recently, the zoo’s team cared for two motherless Ruru twins and successfully released them back into the wild. This important work is made possible through donations and legacies. #Conservation #WildlifeProtection #LeaveALegacy #RuruTwins #WellingtonZoo #PerpetualGuardian
These little Ruru twins were a stand-out case for our team at Te Kōhanga, after they were found motherless in late 2023. Our Vet team cared tirelessly for these babies which meant they had the best chance of survival when we released them back into the wild. As a charity, we rely on donations and legacies to fund a lot of our work, including the crucial conservation that happens at Te Kōhanga. Our community is amazing at supporting us, and we can’t say enough how grateful we are for your help! If you’d like to help our work for generations to come, you can support us through leaving a legacy to Te Nukuao Wellington Zoo in your will. We recently partnered with Perpetual Guardian, one of Aotearoa’s most trusted estate planners, and as a friend of the Zoo you’ll get a 10% discount on the final cost of your will if you leave a legacy to Te Nukuao Wellington Zoo by contacting the email below. We’re always thinking of the future, and we’d love for you to be a part of it. If you want to help build a legacy with us, please contact Perpetual Guardian at this email address: WellingtonZoo@pgtrust.co.nz Perpetual Guardian

🤝 Philanthropy Highlight: Empowering Young Innovators with the Stanley Ratley Scholarship, proudly managed by Perpetual Guardian. Elisa Harley, a 17-year-old entrepreneur, founded Enivo Pots to address the environmental impact of plastic pots in New Zealand's horticulture industry. Her innovative biodegradable pots, made from local forestry waste, gained traction through the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES). A significant boost came from the Stanley Ratley Waste Minimisation Scholarship, which, along with other funding, is helping her scale production locally for field testing across Aotearoa. Elisa encourages young entrepreneurs to start early, seek mentorship, and follow their passions. 💡 🌍 If you want to read more about Elisa's incredible work, check out the full article by the NZHerald below. https://lnkd.in/ghUuB-MK ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤ ㅤ #philanthropyhighlight #PerpetualGuardian #youngentrepreneurs #communitysupport #ImpactStories #SustainableInnovation
