As companies that need to report under Aotearoa New Zealand's CS1 Climate Reporting Standards start turning their attention to second year disclosure requirements, the complexities of climate risk impact quantification, transition planning and how this should align with an organisation's financial statements, is front of mind. Yesterday, PwC's climate, reporting assurance and actuarial experts Annabell Chartres, Ben Coulter, Jonathan Skilton, Renate Swart and Tiniya du Plessis led an insightful INFINZ master class for more than 40 industry participants to help equip them with the tools and understanding to start navigating their 2nd year reporting journey. CRD: Quantifying the Financial Impacts of Climate Change sought to show participants how to translate climate risks and opportunities into quantifiable financial impacts, and navigate the key legal and commercial considerations around financial quantification. If you missed yesterday's session, INFINZ is holding another master class at PwC in Auckland on 14 November. Click here for further information. https://lnkd.in/gkqTNBcr
