It's the middle of Mental Health Awareness Week organised by Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand and reflecting on a few things that help me daily professionally and personally. 1. I benefit from a strong supportive network. At Quanton we’ve formed a trusted team and a culture of transparency. I stand behind them, encouraging open communication and for any member to feel comfortable to discuss any issues like mental health. This also lends over to social relationships with my friends and family. 2. Work on stress management policies. Anyone in a leadership role understands the importance of finding that right balance between work and health; it's always an ongoing challenge to maintain that equilibrium #dailyworkinprogress! I schedule regular breaks to recharge and refocus throughout the day #HealthyMindHealthyWork Personally, what helps me is spending time with family reading flying, and skiing. 3. Lastly, it's about setting healthy boundaries. At work, I have set clear work hours and block out time for focus activity and breathing space. It is also important when you've got a capable team like we have, to look at delegating tasks. #MHAWNZ #WorkplaceWellness #SupportEachOther
