We’re thrilled to be part of a pivotal moment in Aotearoa’s journey toward a sustainable future with the launch of the new Green Star Buildings NZ certification tool by the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC). The latest version of Green Star for new non-residential buildings, this innovative rating tool is set to redefine sustainable development, focusing on carbon reduction, health, social responsibility, and creating spaces that truly uplift our communities. Samson Corporation’s legacy of forging the path for Green Star certifications - beginning with Ironbank and Geyser - continues with the Ponsonby project. As the first to target the new Green Star Buildings NZ certification, Samson Corporation are working to set a new benchmark for sustainable building. Progressing through the early design stages, this project aims to capture Green Star Buildings NZ’s emphasis on people and place, ensuring it becomes a model of sustainable and community-focused development. RDT Pacific is proud to stand alongside Samson in their vision of “thinking in generations, not decades.” Our team, including Simon Wilson and Jason Wood from RDT Pacific will be combining their Project Management and Green Star expertise to assist in the delivery of this transformative development. Ngā mihi nui to Samson Corporation’s Bridget Pyć, Callum Scott and Daniel Friedlander and our team for their dedication to this groundbreaking project. Ka mau te wehi!
