At Ricoh, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community, and we are proud to announce our partnership in an important initiative to raise awareness about menopause or ruahinetanga. We’re supporting the cause by printing 2,000 posters created by the Australasian Menopause Society in English and Te Reo Māori. The posters are being distributed by a group of volunteers from Menopause Matters NZ including speaker and advocate Sarah Connor, to 1000 GP practices and medical centres across New Zealand. Through this campaign, we aim to ensure that everyone is informed, supported, and celebrated through this powerful stage of life. We are stoked to share the success of our recent Golf Day held at Pakuranga Golf Club on Friday, the 14th of February—Valentine’s Day! This special day was filled with love, community spirit and generosity, as we collectively raised an impressive $30,000 to help cure avoidable blindness in the Pacific.   With 27 teams made up of customers, suppliers, and friends, it was an incredible day that showed true value alignment between us all. Every single person that day was there for one reason – to support The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ, and their fight to not only restore and preserve sight, but to train medical professionals to help their own communities.   Jill Cowling, Group CEO of Blue Star NZ, shared her thoughts on the event: “An amazing charity golf day arranged and hosted by Ricoh with all proceeds going to the Fred Hollows Foundation. Great that you were able to bring together so many of your customers, suppliers and friends to support this cause.”   Rahul Varma Director of Barlows Freight and Logistics Service (and head of the overall winning team) added “Glad to be a part of a charitable event where Ricoh and Golf allowed Barlow's to give a little and at the same time receive a little (the prize) - truly memorable!”   Sharon Orr CA MInstD, COO of The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ, spoke afterwards to thank everyone there for giving back, and understanding the true impact something like this can do for the Pacific Community.    A huge thank you to all our attendees who made the event memorable and enjoyable.
