Reflecting on Our Journey: Ryd's Year in Numbers 🎉 As the year shifts gears towards its end, we at Ryd are taking a moment to reflect on the journey we've embarked on since our launch in July 2023. 🏘 Launched with 4 cars in 3 apartments. 📈 Our first month saw just 10 users sign up, ending the year with a 370% growth 🚗191 bookings with a 67% month-over-month growth rate 🛣 7454km travelled for a total of 618 hours (hopefully to good music) 🌍 ~1.5 Tons of CO2e avoided with users driving an EV instead of an ICE* 🏆 Became a The Ākina Foundation Impact Supplier and a graduate of the Creative HQ Impact Accelerator 🤝 Became a member of the NZGBC and enrolled with Startup Queenstown Lakes ⭐ Satisfaction ratings for both vehicles and the service were 4.7/5 stars 🤑 Someone sold their car! Our biggest insights: Far fewer people are familiar with EVs and how to go about charging it, let alone a completely keyless car. We took on the challenge and so did the residents, and in the end, we all learnt something new. We're proud to work with Fletcher Living to provide this unique service to residents and are committed to making car sharing convenient, zero emissions, and community-oriented.
