This new R660 B8x4NA Logger was recently handed over to Nikita & Brett at Madstar Trucking, where it'll be hauling for Pan Pac around Central Hawkes Bay. This rig is built tough with 660hp 3300nm torque, 14-speed AMT with 4700 retarder, disc brakes and driver safety features including ACC & AEB. The EXTE chain tensioners on the 5-axle multi-trailer make for efficient loading and unloading, while the offset rims give this rig the clearance and stability it needs to handle forestry roads. It's one awesome piece of kit!

Truckie of the Month, Spike, had been driving for a few decades before he got behind the wheel of his first Scania - this brand new 560 G series in the PTS LOGISTICS LIMITED -limited fleet. Spike says he's usually had teething problems with other new trucks, but this Scania has run like clockwork since its first day on the road. Spike does a lot of on-farm deliveries so torque and traction are important and he says this rig hasn't let him down yet. Neither has his local Scania service centre. Spike told us that he has very high standards when it comes to keeping his rig clean and that it always comes back spotless. Welcome to the Scania family, Spike!

It’s a tight-knit crew of 24, including 8-10 techs and digitalisation specialists, working closely with our pre-sales, sales teams, and third-party suppliers to deliver each truck on time and to spec. Got a new Scania in the pipeline? Chances are the Drury team is working on it for you.

Why have one when you can have two? David from Elsworth Fertiliser Spreading has just added a second P450 B4x4HZ rig to his fleet. This rig is made for New Zealand and our unique off-road conditions, with clutch on demand, parabolic leaf suspension front & rear, Bigfoot CTI, TRS wide wheels and curtain airbags. It's a rig that's built to work hard, just like David and his team who operate around the Reperoa region.

And it seems you’ve noticed, with 39% of you voting our trucks number one* for comfort (for the second year running). *Nationwide online 2024 survey by NZ Trucking magazine with 1000 respondents – made up of heavy truck drivers, owner/operators, or employees of a heavy truck brand. Look at all these brand new Scanias! These 20 new G560 Supers 8x4 Trailer Tractor units will join the 30 V8 Scanias we've already handed over to the team at Halls Group within the last 12 months. This business has a relentless focus on road safety and fuel efficiency, so the Super's six-cylinder, fully Euro-6-compliant platform is a stepping stone in the transition towards great sustainable transport solutions. GM - Halls Transport Operations, Damon Bryant, says Halls Group understands its role to help reduce emissions, and that these Scania G560 Supers are part of a relentless focus on road safety and fuel efficiency. Scania NZ Managing Director Victor José Neonato Monteiro de Carvalho says it's extremely gratifying to hear customers acknowledge and value what we have to offer, and that the scale of this consignment is testament to a customer-first mindset. We'd like to say a huge "thank you" to the team at Halls Group for choosing us, and we look forward to supporting your business and your fleet for many years to come!
