This month we’re launching our first New Zealand-based community study. Like you, we’re committed to supporting the most promising spinal research. We also want to ensure advances are accessible to everyone. So, we’re launching Get a Grip in New Zealand. We're bringing research from overseas labs to conduct a rehab study right here. Neurostimulation is a potentially revolutionary treatment for those with a spinal cord injury. So far, the results have been nothing less than unbelievable. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gfEgw8aD

How incredible would it be? Every day I see the devastating effects that a spinal cord injury has - not just the person themselves, but their loved ones, their wider family, and the community around them. As a CatWalk Trustee and an orthopaedic spine surgeon, I'm committed to finding a cure for spinal cord injury. Consistency of funding for our research team is critical, that's why I joined the Core Crew - CatWalk's regular giving programme. Together we can cure spinal cord injury and improve the lives of millions around the world - all from right here in New Zealand. Please consider joining CatWalk's Core Crew.
