𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 ⏱️ 🔧 The Arabian Industries Projects LLC (AIP) team from the Maintenance & Integrity Contract – Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) South has successfully completed a critical preventative and corrective maintenance assignment on a 39m-diameter double-walled tank, delivering exceptional results. 🕙 Operating round the clock for nearly 5 ½ months, the team tackled this high-priority project with precision and efficiency. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻: ✅ Desludging of 2.5m to 3m of sludge ✅ Full internal scaffolding erection & dismantling ✅ Complete internal sandblasting ✅ GRE removal & application ✅ Full internal tank repainting ✅ External mechanical repairs 🦺 The project was completed without a single HSE incident, and the inspection team recorded zero defects or punch points—a true testament to our team's commitment to quality and safety. ⚙️ Harnessing Cutting-Edge Technologies for Faster & Safer Execution This project witnessed the integration of several advanced technologies that significantly enhanced efficiency, safety, and execution speed, including: ✅ Robotic desludging dozer – Powered by the highest-capacity vacuum unit in the Middle East ✅ Grit recovery vacuum unit – Ensuring efficient grit blasting waste management ✅ Robotic GRE removal – Delivering unmatched precision and speed ✅ Dehumidification unit – A first-time use in PDO, optimizing PCS 7A and PCS 7B coating applications 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 As one of the largest tank maintenance contractors in the region, Arabian Industries continues to lead the way in next-generation asset integrity solutions across upstream, midstream (terminals), and downstream facilities. TOCO - The Oman Construction Company LLC, a subsidiary of Arabian Industries , recently demonstrated its commitment to excellence by successfully executing a critical turnaround at OQ Sohar Refinery. This high-stakes project, completed within a demanding 8-day mechanical window, underscores TOCO’s capabilities in delivering safe, efficient, and timely maintenance solutions. ⏳ A Race Against Time: Delivering Excellence With less than a month between award and execution, the turnaround presented a formidable challenge. The scope encompassed essential maintenance on the Vacuum Column—one of the refinery’s most vital units—along with more than 150 work packages. Despite the tight timeline and complex scope, TOCO’s experienced team executed the turnaround flawlessly, ensuring minimal disruption to refinery operations. 🦺 Safety and Quality: Our Top Priorities TOCO’s unwavering focus on safety and quality was instrumental in achieving an incident-free execution. Through meticulous planning, expert coordination, and a highly skilled workforce, the team delivered the turnaround with zero safety incidents, reinforcing TOCO’s reputation as a trusted industry leader. 🏆 Recognition for a Job Well Done Following the successful completion of the SR2 Pit-Stop Turnaround 2025, OQ recognised TOCO’s outstanding performance by presenting appreciation certificates to key team members.
