As we observe #GlobalSafetyDay, we are proud to announce our Maintenance & Repair (M&R) team as “#Safety #Champions of the #Month” for #September at Port of Salalah. The award is given out monthly to the department which demonstrates exemplary performance in meeting and exceeding safety Key Performance Indicators (#KPIs). This achievement follows the excellent performance of the General Cargo Terminal team, who were the inaugural #winners for #August 2024. The new hybrid Rubber Tyred Gantry (hRTG) cranes join 24 other cranes at Port of Salalah , including fully electric Ship to Shore assets. Port of Salalah is an increasingly attractive option for shipping lines as an alternative to routing via the Cape of Good Hope. With air, land and sea intermodal connectivity, it offers fast, efficient and flexible solutions, paired with facilities such as a Free Zone and airport.
