Nuestros programas de música y artes permiten a los estudiantes explorar sus talentos y desarrollar importantes habilidades para la vida: queremos brindarles a todos ellos la oportunidad de brillar. La confianza, el trabajo en equipo y la integridad son solo algunos de los muchos rasgos que los estudiantes obtienen de estos programas. El objetivo es desarrollar la creatividad y la expresión de los estudiantes, equiparlos con las habilidades y el conocimiento para ser artistas o mecenas de las artes, y brindar numerosas oportunidades para vivir la alegría de expresarse a través de la música, el arte y el teatro. ______ Our music and arts programs allow students to explore their talents and develop important life skills – we want to give them all the opportunity to shine. Trust, teamwork, and integrity are just a few of the many traits students gain from these programs. The goal is to develop students' creativity and expression, equip them with the skills and knowledge to be artists or patrons of the arts, and provide numerous opportunities to experience the joy of expressing themselves through music, art and theater .

Octubre es el Mes de Concientización sobre el Cáncer de Mama, un momento para educar, apoyar y unirnos. ¡Concienciemos sobre la importancia de la detección temprana y apoyemos a las personas afectadas por el cáncer de mama! ___ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to educate, support, and stand together. Let's raise awareness about the importance of early detection and support those affected by breast cancer!

En SABIS® Costa Verde, estamos comprometidos a ofrecer a nuestros estudiantes una formación en valores que les permita convertirse en grandes líderes del mañana. Con el objetivo de fomentar la cooperación, la solidaridad y el servicio al prójimo, celebramos la Semana de Prevención del Cáncer Infantil. Como parte de esta celebración, nuestros estudiantes y el personal vistieron de amarillo, el color que simboliza esta causa. Además, los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir un momento especial con Genezareth, nuestra niña apadrinada, en la carrera “Relevo por la Vida” de Fanlyc. Esta actividad no solo buscaba concientizar sobre la importancia de la prevención del cáncer infantil, sino que también fortalecer el vínculo entre la comunidad escolar y la causa que Fanlyc promueve a través de eventos como este. __ At SABIS® Costa Verde, we are committed to providing our students with a values-based education that empowers them to become great leaders of tomorrow. Aiming to foster cooperation, solidarity, and service to others, we celebrated Childhood Cancer Prevention Week. As part of this celebration, our students and staff wore yellow, the color that symbolizes this cause. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to share a special moment with Genezareth, our sponsored child, during the “Relay for Life” race organized by Fanlyc. This activity aimed not only to raise awareness about the importance of childhood cancer prevention but also to strengthen the bond between the school community and the cause promoted by Fanlyc through events like this one.

Durante el periodo de SLO, nuestro departamento de Wellness & Sports, a través de la diversión y la reflexión, concientizaron a nuestros alumnos sobre el cáncer infantil y los buenos hábitos para cuidar nuestra salud. Los estudiantes debian buscar en todo el parque unos corazones de papel, que tenían escrito en ellos una frase sobre el cuidado de esta vital parte del cuerpo. ___ During the SLO period, our Wellness & Sports department, through fun and reflection, raised awareness among our students about childhood cancer and good habits to take care of our health. The students had to look throughout the playground for paper hearts, which had a phrase written about the benefit of their care.
