As economies in Asia and the Pacific work to increase health care coverage, strategies to optimize spending efficiency will be critical. This study analyzed health spending efficiency across the region post-pandemic. Some key findings: 💰 East Asia excels in technical efficiency, while the Caucasus and Central Asia lead in allocative efficiency. 🔑 Key to efficiency: universal health coverage, population density, and education. 🎯 Recommended policy focus: Boost technical efficiency in health spending, with room to grow in allocation and overall investment.
