Ang boses, maging ang boto ng Kabataan ay matagal ng pinaguusapan. Unang una, sila ang pinakamarami sa kabuoang bilang ng mamayan na ibig sabihin sila ang pinakamarami sa mga botante. Subalit tila hati tulad ng ibang sektor ng lipunan pagdating sa pagpili ng inihahalal pagdating ng eleksyon. Youth vote has always been vaunted to be potent but it has not been forthcoming in our elections. What needs to be explored is to empower them to the point that they become the crucial component in democratic participation, guiding and checking on the rest of the voting population so that we can finally choose the better and more qualified candidates to elective positions. Himayin natin ang mga napapanahong isyu at pakinggan ang saloobin ng kabataan. About the Resource Persons: Joachim Sebastian Ridulme, a Public Administration student at UP Diliman, is an award-winning youth leader recognized for his work in community development and governance. As leader of Project Blue in Ilocos Sur, he earned the 2023 Galing Pook Citizenship Award and the TAYO Awards. He was also named Grand Winner of the Paing Hechanova Youth Leadership Award. Joachim has represented the Philippines at international forums, including the ASEAN Secretariat and UN ESCAP, and serves as a governance consultant with experience as a legislative intern at the House of Representatives. Juanquine "Wacky Racho" Castro is a Valedictorian, Public Administration student at UP Diliman, and founder of Youth Service Philippines, leading 200 youth initiatives. He serves as Country Head of Coexister Philippines, promoting peace in Mindanao.
