Summary

We are seeking a talented Sales Commission Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in managing sales commission payments and performing analysis to ensure accuracy and process improvement. The Sales Commission Analyst will own the end-to-end commission calculation process and be responsible for accurate and timely payout of monthly commission. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is a quick learner, proactive in solving problems, and has strong communication skills. This role will support US business hours (Graveyard shift).

Essential Functions

  • Administration of the Sales Compensation Plan in the Varicent ICM tool
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and other business partners to ensure accurate set up of individual compensation plans, including quota, credit rule assignment, target incentive, etc.
  • Provide accurate commission calculation for accrual and payroll processes
  • Adhere to strict SOX Controls and documentation
  • Validate Varicent commission calculation on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of inputs and results
  • Answer commission inquiries in a timely and professional manner, with special attention to clear and concise explanations
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed
  • Seek continuous process improvements and automation

Skills And Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of Sales Compensation Plans in a hi-tech environment, preferably at a SaaS company
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Experience with Quota-based commission plans
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to interact with external and internal auditors
  • Able to multi-task, highly organized, detail-oriented and excellent at time management
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as a member of a close-knit team
  • Strong sense of responsibility and discretion with confidential information
  • Ability to reason and apply guidelines in a consistent, rational manner
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Compensation role
  • Experience using Varicent ICM or similar Incentive Compensation tool
  • Experience navigating and reporting from Salesforce
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
