About us
Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) is the foremost management school of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and its recognition has been extending beyond the province.IMSciences is recognized by the government as a seat of excellence, and to facilitate its further expansion and excellence in Information Technology, Business Administration, Public Health, and all allied disciplines, a Board of Governors was instituted as a policy making body. The Board of Governors is composed of eminent educationists, industrialists, prominent corporate executives, and representatives of the Provincial & Federal Government. It is a dynamic body with the skills and strengths for keeping the Institute on the track of development and productivity. It has been ranked as the 4th best business school of Pakistan by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in its ranking of public and private universities/institutes. This ranking also makes it the best business school of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The ranking was based on the implementation status of quality assurance, teaching excellence, and research work at the universities/institutes.IMSciences is the among few business schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which has been accredited in “W” category for its BBA and MBA programs by the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC). The current position of the IMSciences as a forerunner in education provision has come about as a unique case of well-sustained development. This was made possible by a dedicated staff that had the creativity to grow beyond the narrow confines of state provided education.

DHA Peshawar officials briefed the students about various initiatives and facilities of DHA Peshawar. They toured key locations, including the Roots Millennium Future World School, Innovista Khyber Chapter coworking space and Adventure Arena park. This visit was organized as an initiative by DHA Peshawar for future collaboration with IM Sciences and provided valuable insights into the community and offerings of DHA Peshawar.

The Career Development Center (CDC IMSciences), in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation Pakistan (USEFP), arranged a one-day informational session on UGRAD and FULBRIGHT. Saleem Razzaque – Director of Exchange Programs, Mazhar Q. Awan – Director of Alumni Programs, Shahram Niazi – Senior Program Officer, and Zafar Ullah – Senior Program Officer visited the institution and had an in-depth discussion, followed by a Q&A session with the students. Prof. Dr. Shahid Ali presented a souvenir to the guests at the end of the session.

The Empowered Women Society at IMSciences Peshawar, in collaboration with PharmEvo Pvt. Ltd., successfully organized an insightful Women’s Health and Wellness session for female students and staff. The event featured renowned gynecologist Prof. Dr. Fazia Raza and Specialist Nutritionist Mr. Sajjad Ahmad Khan as guest speakers, who shared valuable knowledge on women’s health issues, particularly focusing on wellness and the management of conditions like PCOS. The initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness and well-being within the campus community. Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman, Joint Director of IMSciences, expressed his gratitude to the guest speakers and the PharmEvo Pvt. Ltd. team for their valuable contributions to the session. He concluded the event by distributing souvenirs as a token of appreciation for their efforts in promoting women’s health and wellness.

In honor of World Tourism Day, our Hospitality and Tourism Program hosted an insightful guest speaking session featuring Mr. Muhammad Subayyal. The discussion, centered on "Establishing and Operating a Tourism Business: Opportunities and Challenges," provided students with a deep understanding of the tourism industry. Mr. Subayyal shared his expertise, highlighting key strategies for success and addressing the various challenges aspiring entrepreneurs may face. This engaging session equipped students with practical knowledge to navigate the evolving landscape of tourism.

Lincoln Corner Peshawar, IMSciences, and Eleanor Roosevelt Corner Peshawar, in collaboration with Friends of Corners, organized the Green Innovators Summer Camp in Mansehra. This four-day camp brought together students and faculty from the Institute of Management Sciences, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, and Hazara University Mansehra. Staff from the U.S. Consulate’s Public Diplomacy Section, along with Lincoln Corners and exchange program alumni, led various activities and sessions focused on skill development, scholarship opportunities (UGRAD, SUSI, and Fulbright), biodiversity, community development, leadership, STEM, and studying in the U.S.

IMSciences and DataNomad signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 25, 2024. The agreement was officially signed by Mr. Zain Tariq, International Business Manager at DataNomad, and Prof. Dr. Atta ur Rahman, Joint Director of IMSciences, in the presence of Dr. Adnan Amin, Head of IM Digisol, Dr. Muhammad Ali, Head of IT Programs, and Mr. Asad Ashfaq, Head of the Career Development Center at IMSciences. This collaboration is designed to foster AI literacy and provide students with essential training in IT and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The partnership will also offer students hands-on experience through freelance projects, giving them practical exposure to industry-level work during their studies. This initiative aims to enhance student skills, preparing them for the evolving demands of the global job market.
