2024 turned the IT job market upside down. High uncertainty, suspended projects and recruitments, salary stagnation, and the introduction of AI. The changes hit juniors the hardest, but all IT professionals felt the tremors. As a result, as many as 1/3 of specialists changed jobs in 2024, mainly looking for better pay and opportunities for growth. These were not the only reasons, but they were definitely the most important. In most cases, it was the employees' decision. 2025 is shaping up to be a repeat performance. Over 30% of IT specialists declare their willingness to change jobs, and employers may drive the change – despite the still high uncertainty, nearly 46% of companies declare their willingness to increase employment in this area. Importantly, companies' declarations may suggest that the labour market will begin to stabilize, and specialists will have better prospects than in 2024. What are the real chances of this happening?
