Hack To The Rescue: Generative AI is the largest Generative AI hackathon for good aimed at finding the best solution for nonprofits to solve their most pressing, real-world challenges and impact one million people in the next year. Tech companies will form teams that will compete over the course of the two-day event for prizes up to $10,000+ to donate to the charity of the winners’ choice.

    🏆 Meet the top 3 Winners of the Air Quality Hackathon! 🚀 🎉 We're still buzzing with excitement! 🌟 Before we dive into post Hackathon details, we couldn't wait to share the incredible talent and solutions that emerged during the event. Let's celebrate our champions! Brainhub Congratulations to Łukasz P., Jan Zoń, Agnieszka Grabałowska, and Piotr Waleń! The challenge from Polish Smog Alert was no small feat - transforming a mobile lung experience into a digital space for a global audience. Brainhub's innovative solution, a website and mobile app, uses real-time data from OpenWeather API to visually represent lung damage based on air quality. They even added a mobile game where users can combat air pollution. Amazing work, team! 👏 BlueRider.Software A big round of applause for the team Bartosz Kozłowski, Adam Czarkowski, Norbert Szorc, @Rafał Kurzyna Sebastian Burzyński, Adrian Michalski! Tackling the challenge from the Thailand Clean Air Network, they developed "AirVocacy", a digital platform integrating live sensor data for real-time air quality updates. Their user-friendly chatbot, powered by GPT 3.5 and an AI meme generator, engages a broader audience in understanding air pollution. Fantastic job on bridging the gap between legal jargon and the community! 👍 Camaraderie Team, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hats off to the Camaraderie team @Venkat Viswanatha a, Gabriel Verreault, Dr. Qiong (Jo) Zhang, Andrew Wallace, Satish Kathiriya ! Addressing the challenge from @Afri-SET in West Africa, they've innovated data processing with the solution they called "Bedrock Mining the Air for Data Nuggets." Their solution, utilizing Language Models (LLM) to automatically generate Python codes, significantly streamlines data engineering efforts. With AWS integration, human oversight, and responsible AI features, they've set a new standard in scalable and secure data processing.
