We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our project at JETVAR, "jetVR - Enhancing the Efficiency and Safety of Aviation Mechanic Training through Virtual Reality," funded by the European Funds.
The main objective of this project was to develop an advanced software system designed for virtual training of aviation mechanics, focusing specifically on Type-rating and General Familiarization courses. By integrating state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, we aimed to improve the way mechanics are trained, providing them with an immersive and interactive learning experience.
Through jetVR, trainees can engage in authentic, high-quality panoramic images that replicate the complex structures and systems of various aircraft types. This hands-on approach enhances their understanding of intricate mechanical details and improves their ability to perform maintenance tasks with greater accuracy and confidence.
We are very proud of the outcomes of this collaboration, which has given us a solid foundation to launch further initiatives. Over the past few years, we have seen our vision of enhancing traditional training methods with advanced technology become a reality. The success of jetVR has set a new standard in our training programs, and we are excited to continue developing and improving our offerings.
We are grateful for the support from the European Funds, which has enabled us to bring this project to fruition and make significant strides in enhancing the safety and efficiency of aviation mechanic training.
