Anna talked about how she understands social responsibility and what she thinks is the most important part of it. 🔹 "A problem often seen in the market is the instrumental treatment of CSR as means of pulling organizations out of crisis or willingness of building a positive image in a short time. But one-off investment in a social initiative and publicizing this action will not solve any issue." 🔹 "We need to think about CSR comprehensively, taking into account all internal and external areas of the business. Employee benefits, supply chain management, marketing communications - these are all starting points for building a CSR strategy." Thank you for sharing this opinion with us. If you have to forgo your values to get somewhere – don't. Your integrity, your kindness, and your skills are all equally important." She shares with us her perspective on what social responsibility means to her and good practices from her organization. 🔹 "I understand social responsibility as an ethical obligation that organizations and each of us have towards a broad sense of society, including employees, customers, suppliers, communities, and stakeholders. 🔹 As part of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, we undertake several actions in the context of sustainable development. However, what is most important to me is: what each of us has the greatest influence over; we can often achieve it at a relatively low financial cost and frequently through our engagement which ultimately brings the most satisfaction. 🔹 Every year, we collect ideas for the local grant funding program. This year, the funds are intended to support initiatives aimed at combating social exclusion, particularly for children from difficult backgrounds, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities, and supporting the integration of refugees. By supporting such local projects and charities, we can build strong relationships with the communities they serve, help address social issues, and improve quality of life."
