Hostile Climate: The Home Insurance Crisis
Home insurance. Yeesh! For most folks, it's somewhere between a necessary evil and a snoozefest. If you're like most homeowners, you have insurance on your property -- policies issued to, in theory, protect you when things go wrong. But what happens in a world where disasters move from possibilities to annual certainties? What happens when the insurance companies themselves can't afford to do business in the face of constant natural disasters? In tonight's episode, Ben, Matt and Noel tackle an emergent crisis: a world where no one can afford continual, chaotic Acts of God.

Customer Reviews
Love it!
Great topics, awesome hosts!
Disappointing Political commentary
The conspiracy theories discussed and odd and unusual nature of the pod is very interesting but the overtly left wing biases of the hosts doing news seems best served for another podcast. I don’t really see the merit of trashing the right wing in a conspiracy theory show? Disappointing biases ruin the point of a distraction based podcast
Hmm...
Host has a good voice, really wish he could delineate between his interjections and the “story” he’s telling.
Thanks for the historical context.
I also wish, although it is difficult, to teachyourselves to you use the word RAPE, sexual assault is such a vast category.
Rape is a horrible word but the affect or effect of words is important. Xoxo
