🔍 How AI is Revolutionizing Recruitment - And How It Can Support Diverse, Inclusive Hiring Practices As AI continues to change the hiring landscape, it's offering new ways for companies to screen candidates, analyze skills, and speed up onboarding, but it comes with considerations we can't ignore. First, there’s efficiency: AI tools are handling tasks like resume screening, which gives HR teams time to focus on building relationships and crafting a culture that attracts the best people. For candidates, it often means faster feedback and less waiting, which can improve their overall experience. But alongside these benefits, we’re all asking important questions: Can AI really deliver bias-free recruitment? AI’s predictive capabilities are only as good as the data it's trained on. If it’s trained on data with biases, it risks unintentionally recreating those biases. 💼 How to Get a Raise? Let’s Talk About It! 💰 Asking for a raise can feel a bit nerve-wracking, but it’s an important conversation that you deserve to have when the timing is right. Here are a few steps that can help you approach this topic with confidence and professionalism: 1️⃣ Know Your Worth: Do your research! Look up salary benchmarks in your industry, role, and region. Websites like Glassdoor or Payscale can give you a clear idea of what others with your experience and skills are earning. Having these numbers on hand strengthens your case and shows you’re informed. 2️⃣ Highlight Your Contributions: It’s not just about the time you’ve spent at the company, but what you’ve achieved during that time. Prepare specific examples of how you’ve added value – projects you’ve led, goals you’ve exceeded, or challenges you’ve solved. The more data you can provide (revenue generated, cost savings, etc.), the better. 3️⃣ Time It Right: Timing is key.
