UNESCO Ocean, #EurOcean, and Portugal are proud to launch the 2nd edition of the Mário Ruivo Memorial Lecture Series! This initiative, organised in honor of Professor Mário Ruivo, invites Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs) to showcase their groundbreaking projects in ocean science. Selected ECOPs will have the opportunity to present at the 2025 UNESCO-IOC Assembly and contribute to the UN Ocean Decade’s vision for a sustainable future, particularly SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
