On October 10th, IAMQS, along with our Additive Manufacturing ANBs and training centers, hosted a collaborative workshop supported by the DILAPRO Project, Disco2030, and R3-MYDAS projects. 💡 Workshop Focus was on “AM Designer Workshop: Standardization and Innovation Integration”   During the session, we explored key topics related to Design for Additive Manufacturing (AM), including: 🔸 Presentations of the 3 projects 🔸 Deep dives into ISO/ASTM DIS 52937 🔸 IAMQS Training Guidelines for Directed Energy Deposition (DED) and Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) We were thrilled to have around 20 participants join us to discuss the future of AM and its integration into standardization and innovation practices.   Stay tuned for more exciting events as we continue to shape the future of AM together! ✨   #AdditiveManufacturing #3DPrinting #Standards #Innovation #IAMQS #AMDesign #Training #EUProjects

This week, we are participating in the ISO/TC 261 and ASTM F42 meetings, alongside colleagues and experts from the global Additive Manufacturing (AM) community. It’s always inspiring to collaborate with such a dedicated group of professionals working to shape the future of standards in AM. Together, we’re paving the way for new developments and strengthening the foundation and of this industry. Also an opportunity to promote STAND4EU project, which focuses on enhancing collaboration between research projects and standardisation bodies and ensuring the industry's growth and sustainability. Thrilled to have participated in the recent plenary meeting of ISO/TC 261, where our role as a liaison organization since 2017 was reaffirmed. 👏 Our engagement with ISO/TC 261 has been instrumental in advancing the ISO/ASTM 52926 series, aimed at qualifying Additive Manufacturing (AM) Operators, and ISO/ASTM 52935, focused on qualifying AM Coordination Personnel. ⚙️ Notably, these standards reference qualifications provided by IAMQS, underscoring the interconnectedness of our work with industry benchmarks.
