Exciting morning at Instituto Superior Técnico with Magma Studio! Last Saturday, Indie Campers had the fantastic opportunity to participate in the Magma Talent Bootcamp hosted by Instituto Superior Técnico. It was an inspiring morning filled with meeting incredibly talented students and engaging in discussions about the future of #tech and #innovation. At Indie Campers, we believe in the power of nurturing young talent and fostering innovation within our industry. The enthusiasm and fresh perspectives brought forth by the students at the bootcamp were truly remarkable. We had insightful conversations about the intersection of #technology and #travel, exploring new ideas that could potentially shape the future of our company and the travel sector as a whole. It was particularly encouraging to witness the creativity and passion exhibited by these students. Their innovative approaches to problem-solving and their eagerness to learn and collaborate were truly impressive. At Indie Campers, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals who can bring new ideas and energy to our team, and the Magma Talent Bootcamp certainly did not disappoint in this regard. Yesterday, part of our team at Indie Campers traded spreadsheets for helping our community volunteering with Banco Alimentar Contra a Fome 🍲💙 Stepping out of our usual roles, we rolled up our sleeves and got hands-on in supporting those in need within our #community. Together, we packed food parcels, and prepared packages with smiles that spoke volumes of our #commitment to making a difference. At Indie Campers, we firmly believe that our responsibilities extend beyond the confines of our professional domain. It's about embodying the values of compassion, empathy, and solidarity in everything we do. Today's #volunteering experience with Banco Alimentar exemplifies our dedication to giving back and fostering positive change in society. Let's carry this spirit forward, both in our professional endeavours and in our efforts to make the world a better place, one act of kindness at a time. After another year of amazing growth, our annual Team Gathering took place last week, inspired by the motto #TenYearsOfRoadtrips. What a celebration! It was a demonstration of diversity, unity, and a collective willingness to make a difference. We commemorated what we accomplished in the last ten years and we reinforced our commitment to creating our future vision to lead the global category of roadtrips in the year to come. I returned with a greater sense of pride and gratitude for the team’s humbleness and commitment. While we will keep on expanding our business, extending our footprint to provide more customers the possibility of an amazing experience, our responsibility and commitment to our customers and our teams grow: doing better becomes even more relevant than being bigger, and only by being humble, we become aware of what we can do better.
