For the first time in the history of the World Cup 64 matches were spread across 8 stadiums contained within an area of 600 sq kms- the most compact World Cup ever. Doha Metro and Lusail Tram was at the center of it all providing an integrated mode of transport with convenience and safety at its core - Moving 18.2 million passengers at 99.8% service performance with no major safety incidents reported. Through three years of preparation, 96,000 hours of training, ten international practice events, resilient crowd management plans, expertise from our shareholders at RATP Dev and Keolis Group and over 5000 committed people working as One Team towards One goal we were able to deliver this once-in-a-lifetime experience seamlessly. In celebration of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, RKH Qitarat planned a special Cybersecurity Campaign across its depots and stations. In support of Qatar Sustainability Week, RKH held an Indoor Gardening Workshop for our employees, hosted by Hadiqaa, on October 3, 2024. Gardening is a great contribution to a healthier planet as it supports the local biodiversity and help reduce CO2 emissions. 🌏 This hands-on experience was a fun and insightful session that included learning about the different soil mixes, plants that thrive in Qatar's local climate, and vegetable/fruits that can be grown in different months of the year.
