Xtra Happy Hearing some of the chip melodies of older Hello World songs (Oscar's former chiptune project he ran in tandem with Eli Hedman) mixed with chillhop beats and ambient instrumentation makes for a really nice combination, as well as a great transition in Oscar's musical career as he starts a new chapter with El Huervo. Favorite track: Ratvader's Dream.

El Huervo is a clear inspiration, even appearing hear and doing the awesome cover art. I wouldn't want a better sensei in the art of glitch hop. Favorite track: Elsys Keys.

Ratvader’s Dream is the first proper full-length of original tracks by video game soundtrack maestro Oscar Rydelius aka Ratvader. This album had some tracks appear in the game else.Heartbreak() but the work as a whole is something more expansive than creating a setting for a pixelated scene. Encompassing the dreamwave qualities of his earlier work (See: Soundtrack to award winning iOS puzzler Kensho) the album enters other realms of ambient, chillwave and more. Produced by El Huervo (Hotline Miami) whom also played on and created the artwork for the album! Much like the cover art shows the Ratvader character emerging from a psychedelic metro stop in a deep forest this is the album where Ratvader properly enters our reality.
