🔊 We were honored to accept the invitation of Adrian MOISA, the CEO of EMI Romania , part of the EMI Group and visit their factory in Cateasca, close to Pitesti. This visit provided an excellent opportunity for Belgian Luxembourg Romanian Moldovan Chamber of Commerce members to gain firsthand insights into EMI’s operations, innovation-driven approach, and commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Adrian MOISA stated : Leverage our presence in Belgium – with our recent acquisitions of Access Systems and DECRAN BVBA, we aim to create synergies between our operations in Belgium and Romania.   Throughout the day, we engaged in valuable discussions with the EMI team, exploring topics ranging from industry trends and technological advancements to potential areas of collaboration. Seeing their production process up close and learning about their vision for the future was truly eye-opening. 🔊 Belgian giant United Petfood, one of the largest dog and cat food producers in the world, is investing EUR 35 million in a factory located in the town of Răcari, Dâmboviţa County. The project will be developed in two phases. The group has 25 factories in several countries, such as France, Germany, Hungary and Poland, and this is the second investment on the local market, where United Petfood also has a factory in Buftea, where it produces dry food. United Petfood entered the local market in 2018, through the acquisition of Nordic Petfood, at the time the largest Romanian pet food producer. #investment #petfood
