Scan & Pay is a mobile application feature that allows end-users to enter a shop, scan a barcode on a product and thereby check-in within that shop. After all of the basket has been scanned an optional check-out QR code can be used to control the location of the end-user. The end-user then pays in the app using the available payment options. A rescan functionality can be used to ensure sampling to minimize theft. The rescan mechanism can be controlled by you, the retailer. Rescan is also activated when an end-user purchases an age-restricted product (i.e. cigarettes or liquor).

Here’s some of the inspiration we took with us home: 🛒 𝐓𝐡𝐞 "𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐋": In the loyalty industry, we often focus on loyalty with a 'little l'—loyalty programs that incentivize and reward customers. But retailers and brands are thinking about loyalty with a 'Big L'—how the entire brand experience influences customer decisions and behaviors, driving their choice to stay loyal. This really resonates with our retail heritage! 📊 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: Loyalty is a long-term journey, but many organizations tend to prioritize short-term goals. Often, only the CEO and CMO consider strategies beyond the next 12 months. This lack of C-suite sponsorship is frequently cited as a reason why loyalty programs fail. To succeed, we need to make loyalty initiatives relevant and appealing to all key stakeholders. 🤖 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 & 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Great customer loyalty comes from doing the basics well—clear communication, benefits, and engagement—while introducing innovations like AI to personalize experiences and optimize operations. 🧠 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: Customer Loyalty is deeply rooted in psychology. It is important to consider consumer science as we build marketing programmes. Concepts like Veblenian signaling, where brands demonstrate their strength by offering free products instead of relying on heavy discounts, which might signal the opposite, piqued our interest!
