They push us to become our best versions and find optimal and effective solutions for our customers. Today, we are proud to share our experience in a project competition, in which our interns participated with great passion. The project proposes a multifunctional social space for the Dumbrava Vlăsia community - a center for spending free time, social meetings, or work meetings. Engagement and Communication 🌟Today, we have the pleasure of presenting a study that began in 2005, carried out by the team of architects and urban planners led by Arch. Constantin Medaru, in collaboration with dr. arch. Dragoș Ciolacu and Arch. Alexandra Prajan. This project focuses on revitalizing the central area of Iași, at the intersection of Anastasie Panu Street and Elena Doamna Street. The project proposes a residential development but places a special emphasis on returning the space to the community by activating the ground floor with public functions. Our study gathered and filtered information from the 1998 Central Area Zonal Urban Plan (PUZ) and the 1999 Iași General Urban Plan (PUG). Additionally, the project is designed to highlight the nearby historical monuments, maintaining harmony between the new and the old. Iași is a city with a remarkable historical heritage that deserves to be preserved and celebrated. Over the years of study, we have learned that inherited architecture not only survives but continues to speak to us about how we can develop the city in a sustainable and harmonious way. This study, which we share with emotion, reflects this very principle. We invite you to explore some of our achievements so far and to join us for the next stages. Projects and Achievements 🌟 We are delighted to share some extraordinary news with you! On June 27th, our project "One Day Trip" was honored with two prestigious awards: 🥇1 st prize at the Office Space Design category at RAM24 Transversal, organized by the OAR Iași and SHAREarchitects. This regional competition includes projects from 6 counties (Iași, Suceava, Bacău, Botoșani, Neamț, Vaslui) and the Republic of Moldova. 🏆Project of the Year for POSITIVE IMPACT at the Mix Interiors Awards, held in London. This double recognition deeply honors both Medaru Architects team (Local Architects), and IA Interior Architects team (Lead Designers). The first award at the Interior design - office spaces category was received at the Regional Architecture of Moldova event in Iași, organized by OAR Iași, Romania. A few hours later, the project has been awarded "Project of the year - Positive Impact" by Mix Interiors in London.
