#romcarbon Romcarbon is making the reception of the new XPS extruder. The preliminary tests are done under the supervision of our colleague, Ion Ungureanu, XPS Division Manager, at the supplier's factory. The extruder is expected to be installed by the end of the year. With state-of-the-art technology, we aim to provide our customers with the best quality products. Romcarbon is a well-known manufacturer of trays for the food industry and floor underlayment, both laminated and unlaminated, for construction and home improvement stores.

#romcarbon #circulareconomy #sustainability #PRSGreenLabel PRS Pooling is operating one of the most established circular economy systems in Europe, supplying reusable pallets to the petrochemical industry. PRS uses sustainable sourcing and an extensive recovery network to provide an efficient reuse system to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Romcarbon has been part of this system since 2021. This year by returning the pallets we saved 78 trees. Our recovery rate is +65%. Together towards a circular future!

#romcarbon #plasticrecycling #RecyClass Romcarbon is committed to the plastic recycling and circular economy. When we are talking about recycling is very important to ensure traceability of plastic waste within recycling process. We are proud to announce that we have received Recyclass certification. This certification enables Recyclers with plastic Recycling Process/es to demonstrate compliance with Certification under the RecyClass Recycling Process Audit Scheme in line with requirements of EN 15343:2007. The conformity assessment focuses on the required procedures to ensure traceability of plastic waste within a Recycling Process and provides a declaration of the percentage of recycled content (preconsumer and postconsumer) in Recycled Outputs.

#romcarbon #ourpeople Between August 23, 2024 and August 29, 2024, the European Rocketmodel Championship took place in Zrenjamin, Serbia. Our colleague, Constantinescu Gabriel, and his team, CS Chimia Buzău, represented Romania in this competition alongside competitors from 4 other romanian clubs. As usual, his team returned from the competition with their hands full of trophies and medals. In total, they won, or participated in the Romanian team, no less than 9 medals, i.e. all the medals won by the Romanian team in this European Championship. The rising star of CS Chimia Buzău was teenager Andra Mihăilescu who won 5 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze in singles, and 2 with her team). Our colleague, Constantinescu Gabriel, participated not only as a competitor, but also as Team Manager of Romania. We are so proud to support their dreams!
