Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for our client, a respected IT & Consulting Company focused on IT, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting, to hire a skilled QA Engineer.

The role involves contributing to the advancement of a Business internet banking application across its WEB, iOS, and Android implementations.

The team operates under Agile methodologies with a unique implementation inspired by Spotify's model, ensuring efficient Sprint cycles of two weeks.

What You Would Do & Responsibilities:

· Plan, write, execute, and refactor manual and automated test cases.

· Test and certify features for release, ensuring high-quality standards.

· Conduct peer reviews for tests, test cases, and automation scripts.

· Perform root-cause analysis and track defect resolution to completion.

· Participate in cross-teams and internal customer feature demonstrations.

· Conduct regression testing using a combination of automated and manual methods.

· Write automated tests with Java, utilizing Cucumber, Selenium, and Rest Assured frameworks.

· Research, recommend, and implement tools to increase automation efficiency.

· Maintain meticulous documentation and a robust log of all test cases and results.

· Report issues to the provider via the bug tracking tool (Jira) and identify root causes using logs.

· Perform load and security testing to ensure application reliability and integrity.

Requirements:

Hard Skills:

· Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java.

· 1+ years of experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, including in-house solutions.

· Experience with testing web applications, including investigation of logs and APIs.

· Familiarity with mobile testing methodologies and tools.

· Proficiency in test case management.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Strong team player with proactive and involved work ethic.

· Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems deeply.

· Highly motivated, self-driven, and committed to ensuring quality assurance.

Nice to know:

· Familiarity with additional technologies such as Spring, Cucumber, Maven, Linux, and Kibana.
