We have a new Breakout Session! 😎 These specially designed Networking sessions are tailored for 30-50 participants, who will delve into a 1.5 to 3-hour program focused on the related topic. Breakout sessions will run concurrently with the main program and co-located events! Introducing four speakers leading the "𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗜" session: 🔸 Salvatore Distefano is a Professor at the University of Messina. He will be joining us from Italy to deliver his talk titled: “From Edge AI to Edge Intelligence, Awareness and Consciousness” This talk explores the rise of “thinking Edges” — autonomous, AI-powered edge devices that process data locally for low latency and privacy. Through Edge Intelligence, Awareness, and Consciousness, these devices can self-manage, predict issues, and respond proactively, achieving smart, efficient, and autonomous operation. 🔸Aleksei Naumov an AI Engineer at Terra Quantum AG. He will be joining us from Germany to deliver his talk titled: "AI on Edge - Optimizing LLMs for On-Device Deployment" In his talk, Aleksei will discuss the challenges and innovations in optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) for deployment on edge devices, focusing on enhancing performance, reducing latency, and ensuring efficient resource utilization in real-world applications. 🔸 Dr. Miguel de Prado, Senior Research Engineer, acts as a Technical Programme Manager at VERSES and oversees the successful development of the European Network of Excellence dAIEDGE project. He will be joining us from Switzerland to deliver his talk titled: "Smart Agents for real-world Edge Applications" Miguel will explore the challenges of deploying AI systems in real-world edge applications and present solutions for more efficient, scalable AI. He will also highlight trends that enable continuous learning and adaptation of models, empowering smart edge agents to operate autonomously in complex environments. 🔸 Milovan Medojevicć, Smart Factory Research Group Lead at Serbia's The Institute for Artificial Intelligence of Serbia, specializes in AIoT-driven solutions for optimizing energy use and production in manufacturing.
