Head of Sector Strategy, Knowledge and Learning @Welthungerhilfe (WHH) | #zerohunger | Food Systems | Climate Resilience | Impact

Priscilla W., CEO of Rhea, delivers a powerful message at #AFSForum: Ag subsidies currently incentivise unhealthy fertilizer use but should instead benefit the use of soil health practices. It's exciting to see companies like Rhea emerging whose business model is anchored around #SoilHealth rather than selling fertilizer. Simone Sala from Varda - Field Data Exchange follows up with highlighting the importance of not-for-profit data sourcing and exchange to help incentivise transformations. Robert Asugre from IDH stresses the importance of sustainable value chain development. NGOs like IDH and WHH can incentivise investment in supporting markets for soil health and supporting social and behavioral change. We are excited to feature Lifesten Health founded by Ndoli Peace, RDN, MGHD, and Stephen Ogweno, a Jasiri community venture in Rwanda changing the narrative from "I think I'm healthy" to "I know I'm healthy". Lifesten Health continues to make significant strides in the health-tech sector.
