Last night, Germany's Head of State President Frank-Walter Steinmeier visited the Riyadh Regional Training Center (RTC), highlighting the Kingdom's growing commitment to women's football. Accompanied by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, the Minister of Sport and His Excellency, Majid Al-Kassabi, Minister of Commerce, President Steinmeier witnessed firsthand the progress being made to nurture young female football talent. After many successful years of the RTC initiatives across men’s football, 2021 marked the launch of the first girls' center - a historic step forward for women’s football in Saudi. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF)'s dedication continues to develop emerging athletes and prepare them for international competition for both men’s and women’s teams, while the RTCs establish themselves as a cornerstone of youth development in the Kingdom.
