The Saudi French Business Council (#CAFS) organized a meeting of the Healthcare Committee on October 24, 2024, at the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohamed BEN LADEN, President of the CAFS, as well as by the two Co-Chairs of the Healthcare Committee: Mr.Bassam Hamadeh, Chairman of Bassam Trading Company, and Dr Nadia Cheaib, Founding President of ClinGroup. The event, attended by 17 companies both online and in person, was exclusively for CAFS members from Saudi and French companies in the healthcare sector. It provided a platform for knowledge exchange and networking, with the aim of enhancing partnership opportunities among member companies. The Saudi French Business Council (#CAFS) organized the first meeting of the Technology and Digital Transformation Sector Committee, represented by its Vice President Eng. Soufyan Al-Kabbani , on October 17th at the of the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The meeting aimed to provide a key platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and fostering partnerships among member companies. The Saudi French Business Council (#CAFS) organized a site visit to the SAL Saudi Logistics Services platform for the ESSEC Business School delegation from the CCI France UAE on October 22, 2024. The meeting gave way to presentations by Mr. Abdulrahman Alassaf, VP Riyadh Station, and by Ms. Simona Simeonova, Senior Director, Corporate Business Development, at SAL’s office at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The presentation were followed by a site visit of SAL’s logistic platform at Riyadh’s international airport. The visit provided the delegation with a valuable opportunity to gain deeper insights into the logistics sector in Saudi Arabia. The Saudi French Business Council (#CAFS) organized a site visit to the Signify (Philips Lighting) factory for the ESSEC Business School delegation from the CCI France UAE on October 22, 2024. During the visit, presentations were delivered by Mr. Amyn El Kourt , CFO, and Mr. Shoukat Ali, Operations Leader, followed by a tour of the factory. The delegation had the opportunity to discover Signify’ s cutting-edge innovations and sustainable practices in the lighting industry. The Saudi-French Business Council (CAFS) organized a tourist tour of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center Project, on October 21st, 2024, for the ESSEC Business School delegation. The tour began with a visit to King Abdulaziz Foundation ( دارة الملك عبدالعزيز | King Abdulaziz Foundation (Darah), where participants explored the rich history of Saudi Arabia’s founding and the royal family’s legacy. Following that, the group visited the National Museum, where they discovered exhibits showcasing the country’s cultural heritage, archaeological treasures, and historical milestones. The tour concluded with a visit to Souk Al Zal, one of Riyadh’s oldest traditional markets, carrying over 100 years of history in its alleyways, where participants experienced the vibrant atmosphere of Saudi Arabia’s local culture. The day ended with a traditional dinner at Najd Village, offering an authentic taste of Saudi cuisine. The Saudi-French Business Council (CAFS) organized a site visit to Diriyah for the ESSEC Business School Alumni delegation, in collaboration with CCI France UAE on October 20, 2024. It gave way to a presentation of the master plan of the Diriyah Giga Project, followed by a visit of Turaif and its UNESCO fort. The visit was concluded by an authentic Saudi culinary experience at Maiz restaurant, at Bujairi Terrace. The Saudi French Business Council (#CAFS), in collaboration with Business France, hosted a French delegation specializing in security and cybersecurity On October 15th  at the Federation of Saudi Chambers. This event was part of the French Security Days initiative organized by Business France on October 13th and 14th. During the meeting, a presentation on the Qiddiya | القدية project was delivered by Mr. Jonathan Webb, Director of Strategy, Planning & Technology, alongside a comprehensive presentation on the Saudi cybersecurity sector by Mr. Mazin Altami, Advisory Services Director at Innovative Solutions SA. The meeting was exclusively open to CAFS members engaged in the security and cybersecurity sectors, with the goal of fostering collaboration and strengthening partnerships in these key areas.
