We have just published a new report - LEO satellite broadband: a cost-effective option for rural areas of Europe. The European Commission’s Digital Decade goals aim for nationwide gigabit-capable broadband by 2030. While FTTH remains a good choice for the majority of households, our study sponsored by Amazon highlights compelling reasons to consider complementary technologies such as LEO satellite to serve more remote areas in a cost-effective manner. Key findings include: - LEO satellite broadband constellations expected to be deployed by 2030 could serve 2.6 million to 4.2 million customers across seven EU countries studied. - This technology could be more cost-effective than FTTH for 5–42% of households, depending on the country and bandwidth scenario. - Potential savings of up to EUR21–26 billion in subsidies compared to nationwide FTTH deployment. Download the report now to explore how LEO satellite broadband can bridge the connectivity gap in rural Europe: https://bit.ly/4bbpi7F #Broadband #LEOSatellite #FTTH Stela Bokun, Alexander Ohlsson, Lluc Palerm Serra, Andrew Daly, Olly Jones, Neil Kiritharan, Luke Wyles

A strong password or anti-virus software will not provide the security you need. In fact, cyber resilience requires a layered approach. With targeted supply-chain attacks rising, reliance on any single security measure is risky.
