✏️ As part of the Biomodel4Regions project, a Blueprint was developed for the implementation of the bioeconomy in the Region of Western Macedonia. This process led to the publication of the scientific article "Developing Blueprints for Robust Regional Bioeconomy Strategies: The Case of Western Macedonia", which was published in the journal Land (IF 2023: 3.2, Q1 according to the SCImago Journal Rank - SJR). 📃 The study concludes that, despite the inherent challenges associated with geographical isolation and limited access to resources, the region has the potential for sustainable development. However, realizing this potential depends on the implementation of appropriate strategies and the mobilization of investments, which can play a decisive role in shaping a strong and environmentally sustainable economic model. https://lnkd.in/dfRtPrHu
