🌱 Pracujemy nad mapą drogową dla polskiej biogospodarki! 🌱 📅 4-5 marca 2025 roku w siedzibie The National Centre for Research and Development w Warszawie (we współpracy z NCBiR) odbyły się intensywne warsztaty ko-kreacyjne organizowane przez nasz Instytut wraz z Partnerami w ramach Krajowego Hubu Biogospodarki. Spotkanie zgromadziło ekspertów i interesariuszy, którzy wspólnie pracowali nad strategicznymi założeniami i strukturą mapy drogowej dla rozwoju biogospodarki w Polsce. ✅ Dzień 1: Analiza strategii i doświadczeń międzynarodowych Warsztaty rozpoczęliśmy od przedstawienia wyników projektów BIOEASTsUP, BIOECO-UP i przede wszystkim CEE2ACT Project (który wspiera działalność Krajowego Hubu Biogospodarki), które dostarczyły cennych wniosków na temat dobrych praktyk w obszarze biogospodarki w Europie. Następnie, poprzez dyskusje, burzę mózgów i wspólną analizę, wypracowaliśmy ramy dokumentu, który odpowiada realnym wyzwaniom polskiej biogospodarki. ✅ Dzień 2: Interaktywne warsztaty z interesariuszami Przedstawiciele biznesu, instytucji publicznych, nauki i organizacji branżowych pracowali nad strukturą mapy drogowej. Dzięki narzędziom interaktywnym i pracy w grupach określiliśmy priorytetowe działania, kluczowe bariery i szanse rozwoju. Wypracowaliśmy postulaty, które wyrażają potrzeby oraz wątpliwości zgromadzonych ekspertów i przedstawicieli interesariuszy obszaru biogospodarki. 📊 Co dalej? Wnioski z warsztatów posłużą do stworzenia finalnej propozycji mapy drogowej, której ukończenie planowane jest na jesień 2025 roku. Dokument ten będzie odniesieniem dla polityki rozwoju biogospodarki w Polsce i zostanie przedstawiony właściwym Ministerstwom. Dziękujemy wszystkim uczestnikom za zaangażowanie i aktywny wkład w rozwój biogospodarki! 🌱 Reflections on BioRevolution: Shaping the Future of the Slovenian Bioeconomy 🌱 This week, we took a deep dive into the future of Slovenia’s #bioeconomy. It was inspiring to see #policymakers, #industry leaders, #innovators and thought leaders come together to discuss how we can unlock the full potential of circular biobased solutions—from sustainable #resourcemanagement to cutting-edge bio-technologies. Stakeholders and experts discussed the elements of the bioeconomy system, our systemic challenges and opportunities, analysed key value chains and imagined the future of the bioeconomy towards 2040. 🔎 Key takeaways: ✅ Uncertainties lay ahead and now more than ever Collaboration is essential. ✅ Biomass availability and sustainable use of bioresources and climate adaptation will be crucial. ✅ Circular bioeconomy is a driver for resilience. ✅Innovation is happening now but we need the right incentives, policy, infrastructure and value chains to accelerate adoption. Third National Workshop on Bioeconomy in Bulgaria held on topic: "Building a National Vision and Roadmap Together". The workshop was attended by 26 participants. An important moment in the program was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in the field of bioeconomy. On March 14, 2025, in Hall 400 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Sofia, the Third National Workshop on Bioeconomy was held, organized within the framework of the project CEE2ACT Project under the Horizon Europe program of the European Union. The participants in the workshop were the stakeholders of the bioeconomy in Bulgaria, united in a working group/hub by orders of the Minister of Agriculture and Food. The workshop was opened by the project coordinator from Executive forest agency - PHd Eng. Lyubcho Trichkov, and with greetings from Eng. Stoyan Toshev - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, Mr. Asen Markov - Executive Director of the Executive Forestry Agency, and Eng. Valentin Chambov - Director of the Southwestern State Enterprise, Blagoevgrad. Eng. Stoyan Toshev emphasized that the developed draft Roadmap for the development of the bioeconomy in Bulgaria is a good basis for the preparation of a future National Strategy for its development.

❓ How to accelerate the industrial deployment of bioenergy and biofuels to boost Europe's competitiveness? 💬 Last week, Greenovate! Europe showcased the CEE2ACT project at the 12th Stakeholders Plenary Meeting of ETIP Bioenergy on 12 March 2025 in Brussels. 🌾 It was an opportunity to share the CEE2ACT good practices for stakeholder engagement and the e-solutions developed by the CEE2ACT project, while showcasing the biomass potentials within the 10 Central Eastern European countries covered by the CEE2ACT project. 📌 Last week, our partner University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) presented CEE2ACT at the World Sustainable Energy Days in Wels (Austria). Silvia Scherhaufer had good discussions with participants reinforcing the importance of collaborative efforts in achieving our climate goals, focusing on the bioeconomy and the roles of the CEE2ACT Hubs. NEW POLICY PAPER ⬇️ Skills and knowledge transfer to boost the bioeconomy The third CEE2ACT Policy Paper, developed by Wageningen University & Research, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, Geonardo Environmental Technologies and Greenovate! Europe, provides good practices, guidance and policy recommendations that support knowledge transfer and skills development in the bioeconomy.
