I helgen arrangerade Svensk Sjöfart för första gången eventet Camp Sjöfart! 22 förväntansfulla ungdomar från hela Sverige anlände till Öckerö för att kicka igång en fullspäckad helg. Under helgen fick ungdomarna bland annat testa på: 👩🚒 Säkerhetsövningar hos Öckerö Maritime Center 🕹 Att köra fartygssimulator hos Donsö Maritime Training Centre AB/Furetank 🛳 Besöka olika typer av fartyg hos Northern Offshore Services, TERNTANK och Stena Line 🌊 Åka båt i skärgården Börjessons Charterbåtar 🎤 Presentation om sjöfarten, Donsö och hur det är att jobba till sjöss Donsötank Och såklart träffa andra ungdomar! 🗨 Stort tack till alla som gjort den här helgen möjlig och ett extra tack till våra fantastiska studentambassadörer från Chalmers tekniska högskola som guidat ungdomarna genom helgen! #CampSjöfart

We are happy to announce the upcoming addition to our fleet: one more dual fuel 22,500 DWT oil and chemical tanker. The vessel will be built at Wuhu Shipyard and is scheduled for delivery in the middle of 2027. This will be the fifth sister ship, joining Prospero and Pacifico and the two vessels currently under construction. This new vessel is a continued step in our vision to achieve the best possible outcome for our customers, with the least possible impact on the environment. As always, we place a great importance on creating a safe and comfortable working environment onboard, as the crew's expertise and dedication are crucial to upholding our high standards and meeting customer expectations. These vessels will be constructed and equipped based on the proven design of the four sister ships. Featuring dual fuel propulsion (LNG-LBG/Diesel), a 500 kWh battery pack, shore power connection, SCR-Catamiser, and a waste heat recovery system. MAIN PARTICULARS: DEADWEIGHT: 22 500 MT CARGO CAPACITY: 27.800 CBM LOA: 167 M BEAM 26,5 M DRAFT 9,4 M Cargo tanks will be coated in a way to allow us to safely load a wide range of cargoes including bioproducts, biofuels, animal fats and other upcoming commodities in the industry. We are actively working to optimise and improve the energy efficiency of our existing vessels, as well as those under construction, to reduce their environmental impact.We are continuously renewing our fleet and In 2023, we signed contracts for two new tankers, which will be sister vessels to Prospero and Pacifico.
